A wonderful day today: Giant Spiders made =1. Happy art class = 1.
It’s a good day when you get to construct a large arachnid with your art class. The model is actually made from newspaper and painted with a combination of metallic and non-metallic acrylic paints. The newspaper was rolled into tight struts and fastened into shape/
And in the bright sunshine, it dried in no time.
It makes a lovely change to my usual tasks of drawing cartoon spiders: readers of the blog may know I get involved in all sorts of art projects. Currently, I’m designing art lessons for a major publishing company to use in schools.
